They say time flies when you’re having fun, and reflecting on the last year, that’s certainly been the vibe. Since opening our new space in July of 2021, our days have been filled with higher highs than we ever imagined, and it’s all thanks to this incredible community that has embraced us with open arms. The feeling is definitely mutual.

General Manager Doug MacKenzie nearly turns to mush when thinking of the expansive Marigold community that grows with every interaction. “From our regulars to first-time cannabis consumers, everyone leaves here feeling like they’ve joined our family. We have a team from wildly different backgrounds, and we all come together in such a way that makes everyone feel at home,” he gushes.

Now that Doug has dried his tears of joy, it’s time to party! And you’re invited. Our One Year Anniversary Celebration kicks off at the shop on Friday, July 29^th. Rub elbows with on-site vendors from your favorite brands, enjoy DJ sets from DRiiHEAT, enter (and win!?) special raffles, and, of course, “take advantage of the RIDICULOUS promotions” happening all weekend long.

We’re talking BOGOs. Bundles. Goodie bags for the first 50 that show up each day. All this (and more!) to give back and give props to our fellow cannabis enthusiasts and patients who make Marigold so exceptional. “Thanks to the team’s hard work and love from our regulars, we’re able to host things like this…and give back to the community that has treated us so well! Believe me when I say that this is just the beginning.” Doug’s stoked to say the least.

As we reach our first-year milestone, we’re already looking forward towards things to come.  You’ll have to stay tuned for the whole scoop, but you can count on Marigold to be the hub for exciting launches, lead more community outreach here in Phoenix, and remain steadfast in our mission to be the friendliest joint around.
